How does my work show that I considered Negative space?

I put Saturn in the corner so that the negative space is greater than the positive space, though the negative space looks like the main focus. It has white specks in some spaces. 

What has happened in the making process that led me to new ideas around negative space once the works were made?

What can I do to go further with my work?

 Add more detail and color with light and dark/ positive and negative.

Shapes. What makes a shape a shape? well, that's what I'm going to tell you. shapes are made up of all sorts of lines and angles. Everything we see has some sort of shape in it. if we look at it we can see two-dimensional shapes like an oval, square, rectangle and three-dimensional shapes as well like a prism and cylinder etc everywhere we go.

We all know that a square has four sides but what else makes a square?

A square has 4 sides of equal length and 4 right angle corners (90-degree corners). Because it has 4 sides of equal length, a square is a regular quadrilateral. A square is also a rectangle with equal sides and a rhombus with right angles. The area of a square is equal to the length of one side to the power of two (length squared). It has a larger area than all other quadrilaterals with the same perimeter. The diagonals of a square bisect each other at 90 degrees and are perpendicular.




A rectangle is a shape with four sides and four corners. The corners are all right angles. It follows that the lengths of the pairs of sides opposite each other must be equal.




A parallelogram is a shape that has four sides, the sides opposite of each other well never overlap each other. the sides opposite of each other are equal. all sides add up to 180-degrees.




All sides have equal length. Opposite sides are parallel, and the opposite angles are equal (it is a parallelogram ). The altitude is the distance at right angles to two sides.

I chose to do an authentic landscape/the sky. I wanted to do because I have more in common with this one than the one I was going to do in term one. Authentic landscapes/the sky are one of my favourite things to see so I decided why not paint some for my art bored. Some art displayed here

 

I used water paint to paint these, Each peace I have done has/is going to have a cloud in it. I'm putting all these pieces on my board because it goes with my theme.

Design 2020 Evaluation

Discuss the design principle you have used in your design.

I have used the proportion in both of the designs. The crown, I have used colour to add detail and balance if you fold it in half it will be symmetrical. With the two captain hats, I had used colour for the text to make it stand out more. Repetition is also a big part in this logo see how the hats are the same but reversed, this also goes with the text I used the same technic as the hats.

Explain the idea behind your brand/logo design.

my brand is themed as a self-defence class for females from the ages between 15 to 25. I named it Captain Queen because it shows that even a queen can be a captain. The font I will be trying to use is Bodoni. The colours that are used are a big factor in the logos I and using, neon Green and neon pink with the golden colour because they compartment each other.

 

Visual Art 2020 Paint

This year one of my visual arts classes I have decided to be focused on painting. Painting isn't one of my strong points but I love to paint. My theme this year is beliefs, as in what people believe in. This theme interested me because people believe in all sorts of things, I also believe in some things too.
though I think I might be leaning more on cult and mystery theme then beliefs.
I have gone through the artists in my theme from the matrix on Ako and created my mood board here:

From here, I have decided on Wassily Kandinsky, Elizabeth Close, and Marc Chagall as my artist models for 2.1. These artists will also help me get started with 2.2 which is also going to be the start of my folio.

English 2019 Antithesis

Antithesis is the compleat opposite of something. The structures of the phrases are to draw the attention of the listeners or readers. An example is ' Speech is silver but silence is gold'
